This year my motto is "All About Me!" I'm asking/telling myself: If you don't like it...change it! I am focusing on myself in 2010 instead of everyone else all of the time. I have always focused on making everyone else around me happy, etc., but never got around to doing that for me and it shows. It's a time of self-discovery, health, meditation, dreams, aspirations, reality to come about in me and through me, and I have the opportunity to completely focus on what I want for me! This is pertaining to every area of my life.
I'm tired of living a complacent life-I need more! I am 26 years old, married (10.6.07), I live in PA with my hubby/3dogs/2 cats/4kittens on 25 acres on top of a mountain), and want to be athletic, active, and in shape as I used to be. I'm so tired of being this young and feeling this old....I'm ready for a huge change starting with my health!
I found Sparkpeople in Dec. 2007, stuck with it for about 2 months and lost about10-15lbs. I felt great! Not sure why I stopped though....anyways, no looking back. I WILL achieve my goals before 2011.
Aug. 2010: SW 170lbs.
Sept. 30, 2010: 160lbs.
Oct. 30, 2010: 152 lbs.
Nov. 30, 2010: 144lbs.
Dec. 30, 2010: 138lbs.
Jan. 30, 2011: 130lbs.
I have begun making small adjustments over the last week with eating. I have been preparing this page, gaining my support awhile, and doing my healthy grocery shopping I plan to work out 5 days a week doing cardio. and weight lifting (different muscles). I have a home gym with a treadmill (Tv to watch); bowflex; punching bag; jump rope, stability ball; DVDs etc.
I graduted from school in Oklahoma in 2006 with a degree in psychology/International business. I work for a non-profit in Harrisburg, PA in Human Resources. I am currently studying for my Master's Degree in Organizational Management/H.R. Management.
