My goals are simple. Eat the right foods. Get some exercise into my life. Lose 50 pounds.
THEN REAP THE REWARDS!
I have been a member of Weight Watchers on and off for a gazillion years. So I pretty much know what the point value is for every kind of food out there. I will just go with that ... which is basically the same as counting calories.
Hello This week I had a bad carb day too, but, was able to recover. I have increased my exercise, but still not so hot at it. Hang in there kiddo, healthy lifestyle is worth fighting for, and you can and will do it. Remember we did not put on this weight on overnight and we are not going to lose it overnight. Peace
Hey JUSTDUCKY Ive only been a member since March, I have good days and bad ones , but when I feel like ive not done so well, I seem to make progress anyway! Just keep trying to stay in your cal. range and try to get some movement in everyday and you will see some results , I promise you will! Also , I dont know if it matters or not, but I try to stay close to the pie chart recommended % of 50 % carbs-- 30 % fat and 20 % protien. I click on it at the bottom of the nutrition page on the right side. Try to eat more fruits and veggies, I aim for at least 5 of fresh ones everyday, they are very filling and drink your water. You will lose , give it a couple weeks. Ive lost 18 lbs in 7 weeks, we can do this!
Just want to let you know that duckies are my favorite. I spent hours reading and watching utube about how to raise them. But since I don't own a house I can only watch and think about it. They are more hardy and can not be medicated with antibiotics like the chicks do. They are so cute and their eggs are better than chicken eggs any day. They sell for up to $1 per egg at the Asian grocery stores in Houston area. Ducks are the ultimate domestic animals to own.
Welcome to sparkpeople JustDucky50. Know exactly what you're going through as I too been there. Doctors told me that I was killing myself if I didn't lose the weight. I was heading down the road to an unhealthy lifestyle. I have been a member of Weight Watchers on and off for many years. I also have tried so many different diets out there. To this day I am still trying to find what works for me. I am doing it one day at a time. You will too.....Best of luck to you on your journey to a healthier you...............
