Hello, I'm a 28 yr old wife and mother of two. I have been overweight pretty much all my life. When I was in the Navy it was hard because I had to be a certain weight for my height and it was hard for me to fit into their standards. I found myself doing those fad diets, joining different commercial weight lost programs and pills and still nothing worked for me long term. I lost the weight but I also gained it back 10 fold!!! I am now relying on God and myself to remained focus enough to make a life change. I am very afraid that I will give up, but I honestly plan to take this one day at a time and to do this for me and not for any other reason.

I found out I was pregnant again in August 2009 just as I began my weightloss journey. But thankfully I remained focused during my pregnancy (and with the help of gestational diabeties, LOL) I only gained 6 lbs buring my pregnancy. After delivering my 7 lbs 12oz son I was down 19lbs and counting. I had a c-section with this last pregnancy so I have to carefully add exercise back into my life. I am keeping my eye on the prize!

My Goals:
My goals are to lose 70 lbs. My beginning weight is 200 lbs and would like to get down to 130 lbs. I really would like to lose the weight permanently and make it a lifestyle and not diet!

My Program:
My program for the moment is to count all the calories that go into my mouth. Before I started doing this I did not know that I could drink more calories than I actually ate. I am slowly adding in the exercise because I don't want to overwhelm myself. One day all of this will be like a 2nd skin to me... I can't wait!

Update: I now understand portion control. Not saying that I follow it all the time but you have to splurge hear and there if you plan on making this weightloss a lifestyle change. So far so good. I now don't have to count every calories but I do pay attention to labels & calories and have a few tricks that will help me control my portions.

I am now ready to implement exercise back into my life. It's really hard though being a stay at home mom. No one is there to watch the kids. But this too is just another road block that I shall get through. NOTHING'S GONNA STAND IN BETWEEN ME AND MY SUCCESS!
