Just for Me, you see...

I'm here because I just want to do it. It's time, you see. I've got two little ones who love to play, but I don't have the energy; a wonderful husband who loves me, but I don't feel sexy enough for him due to the 'more to love' factor; pants that don't fit due to my penchant for chocolate, movies, and video games; nevermind the in-laws who can't get enough of the fat jokes, snide comments, or disgusted looks that I have to endure on a regular basis due to living in 'the family home'. Screw all ...
I'm here because I just want to do it. It's time, you see. Screw all that: time to do something just for me! My husband's parents will be gone for the next six months, so let's see how much I can shed and find out if they'll recognize me in April. I'm turning the house into 'workout central' as I won't have to worry about all the family coming and going. The only real obstacle? Can I keep the motivation up or give up at the slightest smart remark or sideways glance?

As of starting SparkPeople on 10/23/10, my goals are:

1. Within 18 months, I will attain and maintain a healthy weight and BMI

2. Within 12 months, I will attain and maintain healthy dietary habits.

3. Within 6 months, I will attain and maintain a healthy attitude and outlook on life.

4. Within 3 months, I will maintain healthy exercise habits.

5. Within 1 month, I will locate and obtain adequate employment. - SUCCESS!!! (11/16/10)
