"Maintenance" means exactly that...maintaining what's brought me to this point.

I'm a photojournalist who works from my cluttered computer desk. I enjoy making homemade greeting cards, spending fun times with my grandgals and making people laugh:)

Through the biblically-inspired First Place program and the incredible tools and friends here at Sparkpeople, I reached my goal weight on July 27, 2012. Since I've not been "on" a diet, I'm not getting "off" one, so I'm thinking maintenance will look much like what's has brought me to this point:)

My Goals:
Maintain my 25 pound loss within 2 pounds

Firm up.

Be more active and energetic.

Get off most of my prescription meds.

My Program:
Food: Eat a healthy balance of the major food groups, averaging 1400 daily calories.

Exercise: At least 200 minutes of cardio a week, including a walk or bike ride daily. Strength-train two to three times a week.

Overall: Seek a life balanced physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally.

A Christian by new birth, and a Baptist by choice.

A voracious reader and a night owl, which makes early-morning tasks hard.

Ann, thank you for my new workout shoes, I'm afraid it will be awhile before I can wear them as this boot stay on until after Memorial Day maybe then I can get into them!!!! Sure hoping this foot heal quickly, I'm tired of just sitting around and not really feeling good.

I had surgery on my left foot about a week and 1/2 ago and now get the stitches out. It still is really painful so I'm hoping and praying that getting the stiches out will help with the pain and that getting them out won't be too bad!!!! I've really had a time of feeling bad but hopefully things are looking up!!!!
