Hi,
I'm Lisa and I'm 46 years old. I've been married 28 years and have 2 grown kids- a son and a daughter. I live in a little town in East Tennessee called Sweetwater in the foothills of the Smokies.

I've had a struggle with my weight since my first pregnancy. That was 26 years ago. At my heaviest weight of 448 pounds I could barely move.

I'm so sick of sitting and not being able to do what I'd love to do so I'm tying to do something about it.

I'm especially interested in meeting others who have at least 100 or more pounds to lose or who have lost that amount already.

My Goals:
To take it one step at a time, one day at a time, to be more healthy and able to do what used to be so easy! I hate not being able to do what I'd like to do, wear what I'd like to wear, or go where I'd like to go. I want to become independant again.

My Program:
I'll make every effort to increase my movement every day. Even if it is in baby steps. I will move more.

I'll also drink more water and try my very best to follow the Sparkdiet outlines by journaling and monitoring my food and nutrition intake.

Personal Information:
I was born and raised in a small town in East Tennessee. I still live just down the road from my parents and both my brothers and their families.

Other Information:
Lived in Amberg Germany for 4 years and also Fort Campbell and Fort Hood for a year each.

Goals:
1. To get numbers on my scale....no more "err"- meaning I'm to heavy for it to guage my weight......GOT NUMBERS! ! June 2011.

2. To strenthen my muscles, lungs and heart so that I can lose enough weight quickly, be able to move and stand longer, and avoid a wheelchair or being bed bound.

Welcome to 100 Plus Club! You’ll find plenty of support and encouragement here. No question is too stupid to ask, so post away and we’ll all put in our two cents worth. Utilize all the tools SP has to offer. I find tracking my food and exercise most helpful. Good luck on your weight loss journey!

Welcome to the 300+team. 300 is such a BIG number but if we persevere, focus and motivate one another we can reach our goals!
We have so much of life ahead of us and it is so much better to work on ourselves and reach for our goals.
We can do it-- we are worth the effort!
All we can do is take it one bite, one day, one pound at a time.
I am looking forward to supporting you in your quest for better health and a happier future.
