I am now at the heaviest weight I have ever been and gained so much weight so quickly in the past year. Before, I could just go to the gym and run it off. Now as a single mom of a 2 yr old, I no longer have that luxury.

I have been using this site since April 2009, which I love a lot for all of the great tools, information, and motivation, but I start out blazing and then something, usually stress, sets me way back.

I have been using this site since April 2009, which I love a lot for all of the great tools, information, and motivation, but I start out blazing and then something, usually stress, sets me way back.

I know now that there are several triggers which set off my emotional eating binges and I need to eliminiate them completely from my life for now in order to be successful in reaching my health and weight loss goals.

HEALTH GOAL TRACKING:

1.) 1 full month of tracking food and exercise daily and staying w/in the 1500 calorie range -

2.) 1 full month of doing some sort of exercise daily totaling up to 30 min. each day (even if it is in 5-10 min increments) -

3.) 160 lbs. - Oprah mag subscription

4.) 155 lbs. - Reebok Easytone Sneaks

5.) 150 lbs. - Reebok Adjustable space saver style weights

6.) 145 lbs. - New workout DVD's

7.) 140 lbs. - New exercise clothes

8.) 135 lbs (GOAL!) - New work clothes from the Loft

9.) If I get to 130 lbs. - Vacation weekend !

PERSONAL ENRICHMENT GOALS:

1.) Complete yoga teacher training end of Nov. 2010

2.) Finish 2010 semester online course - new book

My Goals:
I would like to:

1. Not eat so much at night due to lonliness, boredom, sadness, etc...

2.Not eat in front of the TV

3. Lose at least 30 lbs.

4. Have more energy to keep up with my 2 yr old.

5. Run/walk a 5k for a charity

6. Exercise daily, no matter how little, totaling 30 min each day

7. Eat cleaner foods (more fresh fruits & veggies, no processed foods)

8. Complete yoga teacher training




My Program:
Walking M- F for 30 min at the gym at work on my lunch break.

2 days p/week weight training at home.

Long walk/run on Sundays.

Any other additional cardio I can get in!

Personal Information:
I am a single mom to a great and very energetic little guy who will be 2 yrs old in July! I also work full time and take classes at my local community college, so finding time to plan my food to eat healthy and exercise can be challenging.
When I have time, I love to read non-school related books too - anything from fiction to biographies. I also try to catch up on my shows with Tivo - American Idol, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Brother's & Sisters, Biggest Loser.

Other Information:
I am really looking forward to starting a yoga teacher training program Jan 23, 2010!

I just finished WO 2. Not wanting to scare you, but one is a sissy compared to two. LOL. I loved it far too much. Tomorrow is cardio, so it is going to give my arms much needed rest. LOL

What about you. How did you like it?
