Junie's motivation

I am the mother of 7 children. All those kids have added weight to my middle that I want to lose. Most recent addition is only 5 years old.

In March my Naturalpath had me try hhcg. He and I have both read as much as we could find on it, both pro and con. and have decided it might be a fit for me. After 20 days I lost 13 pounds and was able to maintain 12 of that loss through April and May. I just finished a 40 days round losing an additional 20 pounds. I think I will stick to ...

I think I will stick to shorter 20 day rounds, it is easier on the 'mental' part to stay in it.

My Program:
I am using HCG. I've done 1 short 20 day round and lost 13 pounds in 3 weeks. Took the time to really stabilize and maintain during April and May, only gained back 1 pound. Tried a 40 day round in June and July. Started out great, but stalled for 2 weeks over July 4th and "Hay" season. Lost 20.4 pounds. Maintained that loss through August and have now started round 3. aiming for 40 days, but will stop if I stall again after 21.

Personal Information:
I'm from the beautiful, wet Pacific Northwest.

Other Information:
I have 7 children ranging from 24 years - 5 years.
We are active with horses & 4-H. and we are also very active with our church.

Hi, just wanted to say that I too just laugh now at the skeptics. Only on my first full week of round 1, but feeling great and appreciate the enthusiastic people such as you who are here on Spark Pages to encourage others. Your an inspiration. Keep up the good work.

emoticon I love when I'm on the hCG Diet that I have NO hunger, appetite or cravings, so with all the negative critics, I just laugh. The diet has worked for me & that is all I care.

Thanks for the recipe! But what does cream mean? I've never bought cream before.

Hi Junie,

Nice to meet you and thanks for the comment on my Navy graduation blog. Congrats to your sailors too! Our first sons through were only three weeks apart in BC! That fella just deployed to Qatar, then Bahrain. My newer sailor, college grad, is coming home from Coronado, CA this Saturday till the New Year! Life is good. I am in high Spark gear!!

Hey Junie -

Yes, I am in Florida. We had a rare spring noreaster (it was really a tropical storm, but outside of hurricane season). Today was either the 9th or 10th straight day of rain. Lots of flooding here. Snakes are up and very active...as are the turtles! There is no place to ride at the barn. It is all just mud soup. My horse's stall is high and dry, but the pasture are like a swamp. We have been fortunate to have avoided rain rot so far. Yay for good nutrition!

I did finally just suck it up and go to the grocery store tonight. I knew it was time when I had to eat fudgsicles and pumpkin seeds for breakfast this morning. That is some kind of low on groceries! I do not like to haul groceries up wet steps to the third floor in slippery flip-flops. I had just finished my bi-weekly pedicure - so I cannot wear real shoes. Now I have food and little red piggies!

Yay for food! Now for riding...I will ride in the rain, but not the lightning. Glad to hear that you are drying up a bit. I feel your pain.

ttyl :)
