Pure body, pure mind, pure soul

After a year away from SparkPeople, I am back. It has been a tough year full of many things that led me to abandon my healthy habits and gain weight: a long distance move, the death of a family member, and most importantly a battle with an anxiety disorder that I am finally starting to fight to overcome. This year, my self confidence has been at its lowest point in my life, but I am working to bring it back up and to accept myself the way I am, even with my flaws. I'd like to avoid reaching for ...
I'd like to avoid reaching for a number on the scale, and instead reach for health and happiness.

Yet, out of struggle comes progress. I'm with you. Struggled, struggle, will struggle... it's an ongoing theme for me but I will choose to focus on the lessons learned rather than the challenges. We are evolving with each struggle. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Oh my! * Struggles* I'm well acquainted with. But I'm so sorry to hear they're gettin' to you. Remember what Rumi says:

Keep knocking
and the joy inside
will eventually
open a window
and look out
to see
who's there.

My the joy inside expand and expand until you fairly explode from the fulness!

In solidarity,
