Hi there - I was looking at the 40/FedUp & Happily Married Team and saw your post. I have plantar faciatis in my right foot. Ugh. It feels like I have a bone spur, but I don't thank goodness. But - my mom had bone spurs in both of her heels and had shock wave therapy on both of her heels (uses sound waves to break up the bone pieces) and she walked out of that office and had no pain. It was amazing. As for me, since I don't have the spurs, it is extremely important to wear good shoes that have a little bit of a heel on them and good arch support. That helps you not have pain while walking.
Thank you for the blog comment. We are so lucky to still have our dads. My grandfather, like your dad, had chest pain and was told it was nothing. He did not survive his first heart attack and left behind a widow in her 40s and 5 children, one still at home. 1977 days ago
