Back for the umptenth time!!!

Well I have gained back half of what I had lost!! Time to get serious again and have my weight loss be on the front burner in my life!! So Here I gooooooo...... My Weight Loss Story(or lack there of): I first started to gain weight at 5 years old. I had my tonsils removed and immediately started to gain weight. That trend continued until I was 16 years old and weighed in at 326 lbs. When I was 13 years old my mother had gastric bypass surgery to lose weight. Yes, I come for a family of large people. Mom's side and Dad's side! Well, watching her lose over a hundred pounds with the surgery definitely got my attention. I went to mom at 16 yrs old and told her I wanted to have the surgery. So I followed through and had the surgery. I lost over 140 pounds. Had to take tons of vitamins and monthly b12 shots afterward. Then over the years I slowly gained the weight back. In 2006 I was back up to nearly 300 pounds. June of 2006 I married my wonderful husband. Then in April of 2007 I quit smoking. Then I ballooned up to 332 pounds. I told my husband I had to do something!!! and NOW!! But this time I wanted to do this the right way! So here is why the surgery did not last for me. I FIXED the SYMPTOM not the PROBLEM!!! After the surgery, I still was not taught how to have a healthy lifestyle nor was I introduced to exercise! And in order to maintain a healthy weight you have to have both of the above unless you are blessed with good genetics lol. But even then at some age it will eventually catch up with you! So anyway, my husband and I started off just making small changes. Switched from regular soda to diet soda, Whole or 2% milk to skim milk and eliminated as much sugar as possible from our diets. Then in 2008 we joined weight watchers. Over the course of those 2 years I lost 60 pounds. In July 2009 we moved and I back slid a bit and gained 12 pounds back. But we are now back on track after a friend of ours told us about this site. I have now lost 6 of the 12 pounds and working on the rest to be back where I was in July. Then I still have a long journey yet to get to my goal! But I KNOW I CAN DO IT!!
