Oftentimes our path seems to be filled with roadblocks, and we wonder why life is so difficult. Things happen that leave us feeling as though we have little control over our circumstances. This is a time to remember that hope is a gift we can give to ourselves...
I left this response on your blog comments, but in case you missed it:
Here is a plan to consider, many people have been successful with it:
150 minutes a week of fitness 1350-1600 calories a day. Do your very best to see that the first 1350 is filled wih protein and veggies and healthy choices BUT then leave 250 calories for your "Happy calories" This can be 1 soda, some candy, extra bread... whatever. If you ahve a special dinner with your mom or your sweetie, save up 3 days worth of fun calories, and you have an extra 750 calories for that meal. OR if it was an impromptu special dinner... then the net 3 days just omit your fun calories. This usually leads to about a 10 lb weight loss in a month. It's called the "drop 10 plan"
