Back at 160...oops. Slam on the breaks, sister!
Me at my lowest weight of 145...whew, this body felt so much better! I know it's in there somewhere
Shirley at the start -- 190 pounds of pure gold, and the biggest size 16 pants they make!
It's simple...this year I have gained back 16 pounds of the 45 pounds I lost 4 years ago. Too much happiness! I met someone, fell in love, and after long distance romancing, moved to Hawaii so we could move in together. It's been wonderful, but with all the nesting and celebrating, I can no longer zip my pants!
So it's back to the basics: weighing in once a week, weighing and measuring my food, counting and logging my food and exercise. My head is in the right place...and as my wonderful diet coach and friend Sandra Ahten says, "I know what to do, I just haven't been doing it!"
So let's do it!
145 lbs by New Years Eve...a lofty goal but I feel determined.
- Journal my food
- Eat between 1200 - 1600 calories most days
- Follow my half marathon training program, working out 6 times per week.
- Do one sun salutation every day.

Happy Birthday!! Congratulations on your successful weight loss, and I hope you continue to be in such a happy place. You are truly an inspiration---I turn 43 next year, and going red sounds good to me, too! Actually, it ALL sounds good. Take care, and hope you're having a great day celebrating your life.

Hi was missing you & came to your page & THERE YOU ARE at the finish!!!! I LOVE THE SMILE ON YOUR FACE!!!
I hadn't seen you pic yet. Very cool.
Hey I hear ya on the funk. I have been in the 140's for an entire year give or take a few lbs up/down.
Really tired of it. I know it's emotional for me. Losing the last lbs I have no protective layer from people. It's part punishment made some bad choices (marriages) punish myself w/food.
It IS hard to celebrate losing 40lbs when you still aren't perfect. I struggle with it too.
I guess all in all I'd rather be here in my new thinner body & my new knowledge then where I was before. Smoking & stinking & tired & very unhealthy. I know you feel that way too.
I agree on the points. They are addictive & it's silly! Just do what you can & be who you are.
Thanks for all the support you've been for me.
