Losing it....one pound at a time!

Ever think that your not as heavy as you really are, until you get those holiday photos back? Well, that's what happened to me . Thought it was time to take a good, long, hard look at myself and get up off of the couch and put more effort into my exercise/diet and change my lifestyle :)

My Goals:
get down to 190lbs...heck, 200lbs sounds good right about now.

get the ol' waist measurement to 39 inches... would be ideal, for a start.

enjoy my environment even more than i do now.

My Program:
Dream Dinners is my main form of meals, with weekly treks to the local farmer's market, to fill in the gaps!

Been avoiding the inside area of the grocery store and focusing on the outer areas of the aisles :)

Remember: "If it comes from a plant...eat it! If it was made in a plant....don't!

Lately I've been really getting into anything that is related to the ocean...from shipwreck stories, mythical sea monsters, lives of sailors....the vastness and mystery of it just fascinates me. It's a mistress that should be both feared and loved...and most importantly: respected!
Maybe it's the wanderlust in me that lets my imagination flourish when it comes to it?

Wow, that's quite a list. Haven't seen any of the Blind Dead series, will have to look for those as well. As for books, love anything horror/supernatural related. Vampires and Zombies being my fav subjects to read, love true crime stuff too as well as the classics. One of my fav authors is R. Patrick Gates, not well known but dude is seriously twisted. Ever come across "The Prison" or "Grimm Memorials" check them out, they are a good read. Right now I have Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, The Zombie Survival Guide, and The Complete Works of Anne Sexton going at the moment. Waiting on the shelf is Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, Holy Blood, Holy Grail, The Lost and The Mothman Prophecies. I have well over a hundred more on my wishlist on Bookmooch, its just a matter of finding time to read them.

LMAO...yes it does seem we are in the same boat. Love Clouzot, of course Les Diaboliques is my fav. of his. L'Assassin habite au 21 is another good one as well. Also anything of Argento, Fulci, Bava, for Italian Giallo. Werner Herzog I absolutly adore, The Enigma of Kaspar Hauser is my fav of his...and of course his remake of the 1922 Nosferatu. Have you ever watched any Josť Mojica Marins (Coffin Joe, Brazilian) his movies are loads of fun, as well as a bit strange. What type of books do you read, if ya don't mind me asking?
