August 2009
Time for an update since I'm not quite at goal weight, but I survived a Hashi's cycle and emerged healthy! My grace period with allergies expired and this revealed an allergy to Synthroid so time to readjust and charge forward. I've also done amazing things with my home - the cats are missing their obstacle courses.
January 2009
approaching a year at goal - though to be honest, not sure what my goal weight range truly is. What's more important is my goal lifestyle - which is clearer (and more challenging?) And along with my goal lifestyle is setting and meeting more goals in life.
July 2008
Almost 300 days on Spark and SIX MONTHS at goal.
The other major things happening
* major decluttering effort underway in my life
* training for half marathon in October
April 2008
It's been just 2 months since achieving goal weight and I feel so fantastic, you'd think I just met my goal weight this morning! I've been this weight before; in fact, I've weighed less as an adult but I've never felt this great.

One of the several reasons I appreciate my life now is who I've become since being diagnosed with Hashimotos (Sept 2004). I haven't always appreciated the challenge, but I'll tell you what - I don't believe any person, doctor or otherwise, that tells you that your life with Hashis has to be a compromise. I have my body back, my energy, my outlook - in fact, since I don't take things for granted, I think my life is even better. And there was nothing special or different about my case, so I sincerely believe that anyone could do the same.

It's no secret that I love this site (obsessed may be more accurate); the support is wonderful, I like my teams and I'm using the same Spark techniques to achieve other goals in my life (clutter, procrastination etc). So after months of leading in the Hartford area, I am trying to divert my Spark point obsession into other areas- a true challenge for the Spark addict that I've become!

I believe anything is possible - Do it now!!
