Back again, to lose weight for a second time. Finding out that I have prediabetes was the trigger.

Short Term Goal: Lose 10% of my weight.

Long Term: To have a healthy BMI.

Long Term: Gradually make healthy changes that are permanent.

Focusing mainly on a carb restricted diet.

Hi Julie! Thanks for your info about the Fitbit.

About your sleep -- have you ever been tested for sleep apnea? It sounds like you have some of the classic symptoms -- I am used to it as my DH has had problems with it for years, and he uses a
C-PAP machine to regulate his breathing at night. They say sleep apnea can actually be dangerous to your health -- and if you're waking up often at night like that it might be the reason.
