I recently turned 50 and I really want to be has healthy and fit as I can be, so I am committed to making some lifestyle changes. I have never been very overweight, but I have struggled with gaining and losing the same 15 pounds for years. I also have been very sporadic with exercising, it's just not my favorite thing to do. I'm tired of being a "yo-yo" dieter and want to be consistent with clean eating and healthy living. I'm also a breast cancer survivor of 3 years, so I know that healthy eating and exercise are so important to continuing to be a survivor. I recently discovered Clean Eating and love Tosca Reno's books and the Clean Eating magazine. I'm committed to losing weight and maintaining it the healthy way! So...welcome to my journey to being fit!

My Goals:
To lose 10 pounds the healthy way. To exercise consistently - To drink 8+ glasses of water a day. To end yo-yo dieting and have an overall healthier lifestyle
My Program:
I've recently read Tosca Reno's book Eat Clean Diet and am trying to follow many of the things I learned in it - no sugar or white flour or processed foods (I'm not completely there but am limiting these), and I'm incorporating more fruits and vegetables. I am also logging everything I eat and trying to stay between 1200 and 1500 calories a day. I currently following the Bootcamp workouts, doing 30 minutes of cardio 5 days a week and using the bootcamp videos for strength training - they are great.
Personal Information:
I am from Marietta, Georgia where I live with my wonderful husband and my cat, Bailey. I have two sons - my older one graduated from UGA and got married in May. My other son is a student at UGA studying Food Science. I have been teaching for 29 years, I currently teach 1st grade and love it!
Other Information:
