My spark journey...
I have been a member of spark people since April 2009 - since then I have managed to lose 25 lbs (my start weight was 167lbs) with the help of lots of exercise and a healthy nutritional intake.

I love the spark community and am thankful to all the friends I have made here who have helped me along this journey with their advice, encouragement and motivation.

My plan for 2017 is to be maintain my current weight - with the help of spark people and my fellow cloverleaf 5% challenge team members.

Good to read that despite the stress at home, you've managed to keep posting.

Hope the stress at work lessens with each passing day.

I don't have anything that I am proud off. I had my reality check last Friday when I tried on a dress for our Xmas party which I had in my wardrobe emoticon I need to make a better plan for December and stick with it.

Wishing you a great week ahead emoticon

Did better with my weight efforts this season, but very discouraged right now. Need a new plan which I'll work on in December. The one thing I do feel good about is keeping my dishes pretty much caught up daily for 8 weeks. It was so nice to have clean dishes and an uncluttered work space! Hope to keep this up.

Congratulations on keeping up in spite of the stress!

My biggest accomplishment during the Fall 5% challenge so far is losing 2.2 pounds as of today. That doesn't seem like much, but it is a start. The best thing I have learned is the importance of exercise for my weight loss, and I haven't been able to do that every day. emoticon emoticon emoticon

My plan is to be more mindful of what I eat and encourage myself to exercise. My neck is so much better after a few sessions with an Osteopath and the neck exercises make a difference. I don't keep goodies of any description at home - too tempting 1

I have an advantage when it comes to celebrating Thanksgiving which is that I'm home alone. Since I've not felt well most recent years on Thanksgiving Day due to Minnesota's fibro weather, it's been a relief not to have to go out or to cook for someone else. The one thing I can do to keep me on track this week is spread my treat foods out over a week instead of all in one day and limit myself to one sugar-free pie for dessert. I've not brought any off plan foods into the house so all I need to do is watch portions.

While you probably don't need to be concerned about a holiday meal, what are you doing to stay on track this week?
