30 pounds lighter!

I am happy to say that I am 30 pounds lighter than my heaviest weight from back in 08. I even love the way I look in my wedding pictures from one month ago!!!

And it's been pretty easy to stay at this weight. I've had an easy time with healthy eating. Sparkpeople helped me slowly change the way I eat, so making smart choices is second nature now. BUT, it hasn't been so easy for me to keep an active lifestyle and exercise regularly...

I've got two doggies and a hubby ...

I am happy to know that you are sleeping better! I had sleep bliss last night and feel fit as a dollar when I woke this morning. I will pray that your steps toward personal enlightenment and physical beauty are quickened and successful. emoticon

I read your comment about the treadmills.

If it makes you feel any better I have to hold on most of the time and only recently can look up as I walk. I keep kicking the front of the machine. The flip-side is I can walk with my eyes closed! Total relaxation while walking quickly!

Start slowly and work your way up. I started with maybe 10 minutes at 2.6 mph. Now I can reach 3.5 and maintain for about an hour.

I hope this helps? Try one out at Sears or on a free-day pass at a local gym. Look for one used, loads cheaper! Only get an electric, the manual ones can kill you.
