Hello, and thank you for visiting my page. My name is Julia and I am in the Marine Corps. I have been in the Marines close to eleven years, and I am a Staff Sergeant. I love to run and to be active, but it as gotten harder over the years. I would like to be the "Motivator" again! I have encountered some medical problems, and I seemed to have lost focus. I know that I have many excuses for gaining weight, and I am fine with the way I am...but fine is not enough anymore...My overall desire is to be able to get rid of thse excuses and quit procrastinating by grabbing the awesome opportunity that I have to make myself the hot and beautiful person that I know that I can be. I want to be able to motivate others, family, and myself by shedding the weight and increasing my self confidence. I would like to be one of the success stories that fellow spark people read about, and I know that I can do it!

Hi there!

I just wanted to stop by and see how you are doing; still fighting the battles for the USA? I so appreciate people like you who make such a selfless stand for the good of the country.

I'm still plugging away at life and getting older along the way which is a good thing considering the alternative! LOL

Hang in there and keep on keeping on!

Hi! Wow! how time flies when we're having fun!

I've been really busy and enjoying the festivities of the Easter season (which is my favorite holiday by the way) and now I'm about to get ready for some over night company that will be here in the early afternoon tomorrow then we will be getting ready to go to the coast for some fun and relaxation. When the sun comes out...I go out! It's great!

How about you? Have you been busy or are you getting ready for BBQ season/summer which will be upon us very soon now!

I read that persimmons have high levels of fiber, potassium, magnesium, calcium and antioxidants which are all super weapons against atherosclerosis! Who knew?

Have a great week and a great Mother's Day on the 8th!

Hi Jules,
Just checking in to see how life is going and to see if you are stateside yet. If you are in the Jacksonville area I am working on trying to get a Meet & Greet going, gatherings at the local Farmer's Markets, and a walking group for us SP locals who want some friends along while exercising in the Jackonville Commons area.

If you are still out on duty to a far away place- 1st THANK YOU emoticon emoticon and 2nd stay safe and keep up with those healthy habits.

Hope we get a chance to meet when you are in town.

I just read a cure for bad Mondays!

It said that when you're feeling groggy or foggy to sniff ground
sage for an energy boost. Research showed that sage aroma
suppresses the enzyme acetylcholinesterase that prevents the
brain's ability to feel alert and happy! Not only that, but aromatherapy
experts say sage can improve mental focus AND memory!

My personal suggestion is...fresh ground or a good brand of coarse
ground sage. The cheap stuff is very offensive to my nose.

Have a great week and remember to stay focused!

emoticon Hello again, I'm back to see how you are doing and to let you know I'm thinking of you.

Ever wonder what people 'used' to do to get rid of dandruff? Me either, but I'm going to share it with you anyways! LOL
I myself used this formula to lighten my hair, but now that I'm older, I find I already have light hair! LOL

They used a natural rinse made from 3 tablespoons of vinegar or lemon juice and a cup of water or massaged salt all over the scalp before shampooing!

I hope you have a really great week!
