All you need is to believe in yourself!

I have learned (through trial and error), that the ONLY time for me to ensure that I get daily exercise is to do it in the am, before work. Although it takes a crane (i.e. my hubby) to pull me out of bed at 6am, I immediately feel energized and have a sense of accomplishment. My day is brighter and more productive. Don't get me wrong, I often will procrastinate, stay in bed and tell myself that I'll just exercise after work or in the evening... but this NEVER ever happens! The result: I'm ...

My Motto: stop thinking about what you think you can't do and know that you can! (easier said than done, I know, but I'm workin' on it!)

My Goals:
To go back to 2 1/2 years ago when I lived a much healthier lifestyle.

My Program:
I went from cardio training for 30 minutes 5 to 6 times a week, intense strength training for 30 minutes 3 to 4 times a week and eating a very healthy diet, to fighting with myself to exercise for at least 30 minutes 3 to 4 times a week and feeling guilty about making bad food choices (alot of the time). Age and perimenopause is no longer an excuse. My program... SparkPeople.com and my dear friend who introduced me to it (you know who you are)!

Hey Jules! Welcome to SparkPeople and thanks for adding me as a friend. Hope you love this site like I do. There's just soooo much that you can do with it. My faves are the nutrition and activity trackers. Have lots of fun and success with it.
