Life style changes

Hitting 50 has been a big change for me and I want to make sure it is the new 40 so fitness and weight must be brought under control. My husband is wonderful but doesn't have a weight or fitness problem so whilst very encouraging he doesn't really know how it feels

weight OK now but need to be fitter and stronger so still lots to do. So easy to slip back into bad habits with food so still need lots of support but really love being able to shop and find clothes that fit ...

My Goals:
New goals for 2010

To maintain my weight between 120-124lbs

To get and keep fit

To maintain my walking programme

To give myself some 'me' time

My Program:
Walking is my main fitness routine as I have a very fit dog and she never tires of coming out with me
Using the nutrition tracker - I think it's great the way it not only looks at calories but at the nutritional areas of the calories

Personal Information:
I'm from the UK and travel a lot for my work so eating out in Hotels is a real issues for me (not to mention the wine with dinner etc.


Other Information:
I read a lot whilst travelling mainly detective novels.
I walk my dog and really enjoy my weekends with my husband - we don't see much of each other all week

Thanks for the comment on my Tea with coconut post - it's really interesting - I had it quite a while ago and still not hungry - just learning here - my blood sugar seems to be really stable too, which is unusual for me at this time of day if I haven't eaten yet - it's nearly noon!! Anyway - thanks again for your comment, it's so great to see when people comment on your posts - Love this program!! emoticon
