How to be all I can be!

This year, I'm going to do everything I want. I'm going to run two half marathons and one full. I'm going to redo my website, paint a bunch of new paintings and sell them (fingers crossed here---economy isn't so great), LOOSE THE WEIGHT! and be the healthiest I've ever been. If anybody wants to join me for the journey add me to your friends list.

I love to paint and I love to look at other works of art. I also love to run. I am a visual creature. Running allows me to be one with my body while not having to be verbal. I can let the scenery roll over me whether it's rural, urban, industrial or whatever.

I did my long jog this weekend and the thought of a (half) marathon has been perculating in my head - so of course I thought of you!

You cleaned the "whole house"?!?! I would be so proud to just clean off the chair in the bedroom! Yikes! Way to go but save some energy for the running! (that's MY excuse, anyway!)

Hi there. I just wanted to say thanks for your kind words about my 10 miler. If you have had a favorite 12 mile run than I am sure you are on your way there. That is awesome, let me know if you have any good tips on how to overcome the fatigue after the run. I was so tired for a good two hours following my run and sick to my stomach.

Also, do you drink anything during those runs or use gels? I have always run off and on my whole life, but this is the first time training for a half marathon and logging such huge numbers of miles. I have so much to learn.....
