I have always been a person that dove into things taking big leaps, but over the years as I look back I never finish.
Now I am taking small steps they make a difference.I am really really learning that small steps make such a big difference. Helen Keller said ," I long to accomplish a great & noble task but it is my chief duty to accomplish small tasks as if they were great & noble.

My Goals:
my goal is one " to stay steady the course ".

My Program:
my program is to finish the walk I started out on,not quit halfway thru even if I set a goal for the day of a 15 minute walk ,or to work out on the machines I will finish it. However my program will no longer be of 5 mile walks and beat my self up if I do not finish I will no longer look at the 12 machines & feel like a failure if I do not finish them all. I will swim perhaps 1/2 hr instead of 1 hour.I will no longer bash myself because lack thereof time I should be putting in.

Personal Information:
I am 66 retired ,married to a wonderful husband no children ( not by choice ) We live in North Eastern Pa.I married at the age of 34 for I never wanted to marry. Then I met my husband he had all the qualities in a man I was looking for.He was worth the wait!!

Other Information:
My camera usually goes where I go. I also make cards out of pictures I take. Love history, Love to walk in the rain & like cloudy days they are mysterious to me. Love to camp,go boating.I would rather watch black & white tv rather than color.Love any museums,Love to explore small towns they have lots of history. I love talking to the elderly as they are full of wisdom I love the stories they tell of their life. I buy old letters from the 1800's on up & love reading what it was like back then in their life. I collect old postcards also.

It's funny you commented on dogs barking TODAY! The people who live next to my next door neighbor have 2-3 dogs and apparently they have been outside barking all day long. I didn't know because I've got my windows closed and the a/c running but my neighbor has been outside working all day and it's driving her nuts. I told her to call the police department - they have a community officer who will come out and tell those people to keep their dogs inside if they are barking. I've done that before. I don't understand people who don't make sure their dogs aren't bothering other people. I always go outside with Daisy and she will bark if she sees someone next door but she either figures out who it is and stops or we go back inside!!!

I agree with you - camping should be to get away for some peace & quiet. We've actually stopped going because at least up here it seems it's now become a place for people to get together and talk all night long - loudly!!

    Have a great weekend.

Yes I googled Angelika's lawsuit and saw that she won her litigation (both over the GMO crop and over her stepson moving into the castle while she was away).

Re cruises: Most things are included, such as meals, cabin, entertainment on board, fitness classes. In port, the cruise line will get you on shore at the port. After that, you are on your own! You can walk around town (if it is close enough!); or take a bus or tour on your own; or take an excursion offered by the cruise that costs additional money. We purchased 3 excursions from the cruise; I didn't regret any of them! I also don't regret the times we just walked, or took a bus on our own.

Thanks so much for your comments on my blog, Judy! Norwegian food includes a lot of fish and game dishes. Notable dishes include lutefisk, gravlak (preserved salmon), smoked cod, lots of lamb and pork dishes. The people seemed more reserved, but they were helpful to tourists. We didn't shop much -- prices were very high.

God is always paying attention to our needs even though we are facing some not so good times.
