Don't Want to Give UP!

I am older now and been over weight all my life. I lost about 100 lbs. at one time and kept it off for about one year. That was in my younger years and I used exercising and diet, heavy on the exercising. I gain the 100 lbs. back. Then at 52 I had gastric bypass surgery. I was 309 and I lost down to 237. I weigh 262 lbs. at the time that I am writing this. So climbing back up again. I hope to use the tools here to keep on track and gain a more healthier life style.
Update: Nov. 6, ...

Update: Nov. 6, 2012 I have lost 36 lbs. since I started Sparkpeople tracking in May, 2012. In total I have lost 82 lbs. from my heaviest weight. I feel so much better and want to keeping going down.

I want to do a water aerobics class four times per week..
Walk when every I can put it in schedule.


I want to track my food daily.

Track how many calories burned within 12 to 16 hrs. daily.

Eat healthy foods and limit my calorie intake to 1,200 per day.

My Program:
Calorie intake is important to me because can't exercise heavily , even waking is a problem some days because of health.

Eat healthy foods . No sugar, no white flour, and limited carbs. limited processed foods.

Good Morning Sunshine! I'm checking in to see how things are going????

I have almost lost the 2 pounds I stupidly put back on 2 weeks ago and I'm vamped to try this thing again! I am going to go a different way this week. I have been allowing myself to stress over calorie counting and all the beautiful things that go with it. This week as a trial run, my awesomeness life style change coach (INDYGIRL) has me chilling and just staying on the small sized portions instead of counting. Something she probably would NOT suggest to anyone else, but with all the stress I'm dealing with this seems like the easiest road.

Thanks for commenting on my blog Judy. Yes, I did have foot surgery again and it is doing well. I got the boot off today and am trying to wear my shoes for now.

Wish you would come back to exercise class. I won't be back until I see the Dr. again April 20 as he has not released me yet. It Have a great week. (((HUGS))) Linda Kay
