What's past is prologue! - William Shakespeare

Update - Feb. 25, 2012

I'm now 1 month away from my goal. I have done pretty good. The last couple of months have been rocky. I need to find my groove back. I've lost 38lbs so far. My goal was about 50lbs in 9 months. So going by that, another 12lbs. I've gone from a size 14-16 to a size 6-8 which is great in itself. Though, I do catch myself grumbling but I think that it has to do with the fact that I've forgotten how far I've come. I just see how far I still have to go, instead ...

I just see how far I still have to go, instead of seeing that I've lost 75% of the weigh I wanted to lose.

Yesterday, I started TurboFire and have decided to follow their 20 weeks plan. This will bring me to an end date of July 13th. I believe I have another 10 - 15 lbs to lose to feel good, but I'm mostly looking forward to definition and less jiggle :)

So here's to focusing on the last stretch and learning to maintain!

----------------------------------------
--------------------

The quote from Shakespeare is my new motto. I'm forever beating myself up over past food choices or past weight gains. But the past is in the past, it is my prologue to today's story!

I will be turning 30 in 9 months (March 2012). My goal is to be the healthiest I've ever been. I want to stop dwelling on past food choices and focus today's choices. Start the day fresh, with positive thoughts about myself.

I've always been the fat girl (though looking back, I really wasn't bad). I know that part of it is my own self image issues but another part is also a lack of fitness and bad food choices. My goal weight is not set in stone as my aim is more of how I feel as opposed to a number on the scale. Therefore, my goal is approximate: to lose 50lbs by my 30th birthday. My mid-term goal is to lose 30lbs by mid-September.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! The basic recipe is here: http://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/2011/11/0
6/one-minute-chocolate-cake/ and for it to be 130 calories, that's making with mashed banana (no oil), xylitol instead of the sugar/stevia combo, and unsweetened almond milk. It tastes great with the oil so I'd recommend trying it that way first before trying the fat-free version. Even with regular sugar and milk the stats are not bad, so it's a great easy chocolate fix.
