If I could live anywhere in the world apart from here, i would live in New England, a place we know extremely well after many many visits. Our home is like something out of Country Sampler as a result of my passions for that part of the world!

We passed by Mt Washington a few years ago en route the Chelsea, VT area to Bethel ME. It was a stunning Fall that year but for some reason which I can't now recall, we didn't actually go up the mountain. I think we were running late to get to ME. Generally, we stay in the Pioneer Valley in western MA, but have great friends in southern VT as well as MA. Our friend in VT, her daughter is a terrific hiker/trekker, and works for the environment - she usually works alone and is often to be found staying by herself in some remote Appalachian hut; very brave - I adore the App's but wouldn't, as a female, want to tramp around it all by myself and stay alone at night.

You live in a stunning area but, yes, I do know about the frightful reputation of Mt Washington. It featured in the National Geographic some years ago and I've seen a few documentaries on it. Well done you for all your good work.

JESUS (the sweetest name I know) ~

His shed blood means we can live each day in His forgiveness.

His resurrection means we can walk constantly in newness of life.

His day of victory makes all our days complete!

Praying His Very Best Is Yours this Easter Season!

For in Him we live & move & have our being. ~ Acts 17:28 NIV

There will never be another act of love
so pure or triumph
so celebrated
as the humility of the cross
& the miracle of the empty tomb.

Bonnie Jensen

Have a wonderful time of rejoicing in the Resurrection!

Good Morning

Dropping by to wish you a Blessed Easter Weekend and share a special Easter Poem....

Easter Means Eternal Life

A perfect God demands a perfect justice;
He cannot let us get away with sin.
We used Godís gift of our free will to trespass,
So heavenís gates were closed; we couldnít get in.

Our sin required our blood, a sacrifice,
To atone for all the wrongs that we had done.
"But I love them!" cried our Father, filled with sorrow;
"Iíll send my only Son to be the one."

Good Friday marks the slaying of our Jesus,
The unblemished lamb, the perfect sacrifice.
He took our guilt and blame upon Himself,
So we could be with Him in paradise.

On Easter morning, he came back from death;
He vanished from the tomb, the empty grave.
His resurrection means eternal life
For us, the ones he came to earth to save.

This summarizes all the Easter story
And because of it, weíll be with Him in glory.
