My Goals:
I want to exercise 4-5 times a week for at least 30 minutes, lower my cholesterol and blood pressure, lose 25 pounds (to start with!) and get in better shape so I can enjoy outdoor activities more.

My Program:
I am tracking my exercise and food on SparkPeople and I am doing a personal challenge called "100 days of fitness" where I commit to 100 days of 30 minutes of exercise. So far I am 1/3 of the way there and I hope SparkPeople can keep me motivated.

Other Information:
I love reading almost anything, from Jane Austen to histories of Cape Cod and the whaling industry, from Harry Potter to the poetry of Elizabeth Bishop, and oh yeah, just started book 4 of Game of Thrones! I also love broadway musicals, indie rock (Pavement, Built to Spill, the Decemberists, Bright Eyes, etc), and comedy (John Mulaney, Maria Bamford, Tig Notaro, Mike Birbiglia, etc!)
