I have PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease) and food allergies, so eating healthy has been a crazy adventure of learning what I can, and more often cannot, eat. I gained some extra weight in the process because at one point I just quit eating, I was so lost on what I should be eating because of the medical issues, and it totally ruined my metabolism. Welcome to the Loving our Kidneys" team! I'm very interested in hearing how you manage PKD and what your diet restrictions are. What blod tests are used to monitor your disease's progress? Most of the team members have Chronic Kidney Disease, so PKD is pretty much a mystery to me. If you're willing, open a new thread in the General Information forum and give us an overview. Either way, take a look at the other threads in that forum and feel free to update any of them!

Again, welcome!
