Goal 2: Hike Mt. Si. (again)

Goal 3: 2-day backpacking trip.

My Program:
1. My best version of push-ups, 3-4 nights a week, increasing by one each time.

2. Short, local hikes twice a week until July; then add in 2-4 hour hikes on the weekends. RECOVER properly!

3. Make friends with knowledgeable campers!

thanks for commenting on my picture - I think at that point I was probably around 15%.

In my competition photos I think I was probably around 9-10%.

Good luck!

Hi! Your pictures are beautiful. I would LOVE to hike some of those areas! The mountains (hills compared to the Rockies, but we love them anyway!) in western NC are indeed beautiful, and I'd certainly suggest checking them out if you're out here sometimes. There are TONS of trails that easy for families and children since our mountains are fairly small. There are some trails that go through tons of blueberry bushes, and people do a day hike and bring buckets so they can pick lots of blueberries to take home. We like to take them back to the campsite and make blueberry pancakes. Yum!
