My Path to a Better Me

Here I go for round 2. Last summer I managed to lose 30 pounds. Unfortunately, almost 20 pounds found their way back home. Well, not this time. This time the fat is coming off and the muscle is going on.

My Goals:
1. Get my weight to 174 or below (BMI under 25.0)

2. Gain more muscle - Ongoing process

3. Run the mile-and-a-half in under 10:24

4. Do 52 push-ups in one minute

5. Do 51 sit-ups in one minute

6. A 34-inch waist



My Program:
1. Weight training three times a week.

2. Cycling at least 4 times a week.

3. Proper nutrition and portion control.

Personal Information:
Back in high school, I was very active (playing all kinds of sports, swimming, running, etc.). When I got out of high school, I weighed 155. After I got out of school, I got lazy and started putting on the weight. I tried joining a gym with my wife, but life seemed too hectic and we both lost motivation. When I joined the military, I weighed 210 and could just pass the minimum standards. My last fitness test, I passed by only .3 points. The next time I test, I don't want failure to even be a potential outcome.
