One Step at a Time...

I want to loose weight which I have put on over the last ten years. I want to feel great about myself and change to a healthier lifestyle one small step at a time. Small changes in my habits every day will lead to big changes down the road!

As I have continued down this weight loss journey, I am grateful for my family and new friends I have found on this site. I understand now that the power to change my life really comes down to being consistent and moving forward-even if I ...

As I have continued down this weight loss journey, I am grateful for my family and new friends I have found on this site. I understand now that the power to change my life really comes down to being consistent and moving forward-even if I step backward every once in a while (see #4 in My Program).

Way to go!! WOW!! It's funny what a little determination get you if you will only let it happen. Good time too. I am still running. I run a minimum of 5k 3 days a week. I have started to run longer just to push myself a little more. It was getting to be just a run. My last run was 7.6k. I was on the treadmill watching a movie so I didn't even notice how long or far I was running. I stopped only because I ran out of water. I can't wait to start running outside again. I am not a cold weather girl. The snow is almost gone now and my puppy is getting stir crazy.

How are you doing? I haven't heard anything from you in a bit. I hope you are still running. I wanted to let you know that I attempted my 1st 5k today and completed it in 37.1 minutes. I know that isn't going to break any speed records but I am pretty pleased with myself emoticon
