So I've decided to reword this Introduction Text now have I have a few more minutes to sit down and think about what I want to say. I'll remove this part of the Introduction Text after a few days.
My decision to finally change the way I live started back in November of 2009. I had hit an all time high in weight and said, "Enough is enough!" so I decided the best thing I knew to do and I bought abunch of lettuce, light salad dressing, and a water filter.
I vowed to myself that from here on I would only eat salad and that dang it the weight would leave.
So less than 24 hours into my diet, I had failed. I was hungry, grumpy, and progressively sick of salad. So off I went looking for a new way to lose weight, something new, innovative and ultimately the new best way to lose weight.
So I came across Colon-Cleanse.. I will -not- go into the details of this experiment, but.. well the entire experience was just full of sh*t.
So I continued my journey and came across the SparkPeople website, "What is this crap!?" were the first words I said as I saw the orange on white website that looked like it had been plucked out of the 1990's and sprayed onto my laptop. After clicking around the website I laughed and said, "What fools!" and went on looking again for the next best thing.
Well, that 'next best thing' turned into me coming back to SparkPeople after finding no less than 20 references across the internet of people saying, "It's not easy, but it does work if you follow the plan."
So with a grude I opened up a SparkPeople page and started to look around at all the features of the website, "Yeah, when do I get hit with a monthly fee?" was my first question until I realized that the website really was free to use. I was impressed by eveything that was offered and I quickly become more and more involved in the site.
I gave up hope in Feburary after losing 30 pounds (and halting) and deleted my account. Now I am back and better than ever and ready to lose the rest of the weight that I've been needing to lose for the past 10 years. Couch potato no longer, I am becoming fit.

My goal is about 80 pound weight loss and to get more active on this farm. It seems renting out farmland and watching other people work on the fields doesn't help my weight at all.
Going to start the C25K if I ever find time.
