My Life Depends On it

I want to see my kids graduate college, I want to see and play with grandkids, I want to see grandkids graduate college, I want to be the old guy at church who is always able to help usher, yet I let my weight be 'off the scale' and put all those things at great risk. Hope you are doing well. I've been maintaining weight well, nothing gained back....I'm not on sparkpeople much anymore, just check in to see where this journey started ......be encouraged, small steps will lead to bigger steps.

Thank you for your comment on my sp blog today.....our son is doing well, he is our miracle boy. It is because of his doctors, heart surgeons, nurses and prayers that he is doing so well. He shows off his heart scar at times and tells people that the heart doctors made my heart work better.

Hope your journey is going well also. My starting weight was 219/220 is Sept. 2008, Sept. 2010 down to 157. You can do it too, hang in there. :-) Thank you again for your encouragement.

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I am so glad I can motivate you. I'm an up and down person also but am working with The Biggest Loser book - The Weight-Loss Program to Tranform Your Body, Health, and Life and it has really helped me figure out portions which has always been my biggest project. Now, I've kicked it up and am working out with The Biggest Loser Boot Camp and hoping with exercise, I can make permenant changes.

Keep going, even the smallest changes will work for you! emoticon
