Overweight, secluded and depressed--what a cocktail for failure.

Hi there,

I think the above title says it all. The problem is, that it's not who I want to be anymore. It's 'not me'. I'm just really looking for a support system, because I can't do this on my own.

Hi. Thanks for your response to my blog post. Just like you said, I tend to go the easy way when it comes to food, fast food is so much easier than cooking. I have found that just writing that one blog entry has opened up a dialog in my head that I never had before. Putting it out there in black and white makes everything more real. Even if it makes no sense to anyone else, all that matters is if it makes sense to you.
Just remember, you are here now trying to make changes so you are not a failure. There are many great resources here that can help, blogging, message boards, etc.
You can do do this!!!!!!! It's just a matter of finding that one thing that will make you say to yourself " A ha, THAT'S what I was missing". For me I think that may be writing my thoughts out in my blogs. If I confront it, I can deal with it.
Good luck to you!!!!! And keep your head held high and positive thoughts in your head. Each day is a new day to a healthier you.
