I had hoped to have Lap Band surgery in the early part of 2009. However, my insurance company will not cover this procedure. So... I joined a gym with my husband and son. I have an appointment on 2/6 with the trainer to develop a program.

My Goals:
My long-term goal weight is 150!

My short term goals vary, depending on what's going on in my life!

My Program:
1. Exercise vigorously for 30 minutes daily.
2. Write down everything I eat.
3. Be physically active for 45 minutes each day (off my butt).
4. Eat more slowly.
5. Drink more water.
6. Each week, reflect on the food I've eaten, and assess whether I am taking care of my body, or punishing it.
7. Make good decisions about my next meal, and the ones after that, to ensure that they really do healthfully and efficiently fuel my body.
