I am back for real this time! I can do this!

Hi, my name is Julia. I am from Indiana and I am overweight. I have never been a small person, but not over 150 lbs. In late Dec 2007 to May 2008 I went from 160lbs to 220lbs due to a series of serious health problems. I kept weight on for about a year. I started moving, sweating, and making healthier food choices before i found sparkpeople. I managed to lose 40lbs on my own, but needed help for the next 20. My Goals:
My new goals:
1. track nutriotion every day
2. do at least 10-30 min of exercise every day, get heart rate up
3. go to the YMCA 3 mornings a week and swim
4. lose at least 3lbs a month
5. encourage my friends
6. no more excuses!!!
7. Make myself accountable for what goes in my mouth
8. stop emotional eating, especially late night and boredom eating

My Program:
Since back surgery my program is to strengthen my glutes, quads, and abs to help support my back. Get my heart rate up for at least 10 min a day. Squeeze in exercise at work and home. Eat according to my nutrition tracker as close as possible.

Personal Information:
I am form Northern IN. I am a life time Hoosier! However, since we are so close to Chicago I am a Bears and White Sox fan. I am 34 yrs old and engaged. I have a degree in psychology. I love gardening, crime shows, and birdwatching.

Other Information:
I love country music and movies, My favorite prayer is the serenity prayer. It really speaks of almost every aspect of our lives.
