47 years old and hit 240 lbs. A full 100 lbs heavier than I was when I graduated from high school!!

I managed to get down below 180 back in 2000 doing the Atkins diet, but it came back.

In addition to my formal weight and cardio, I'm getting out for lots of hikes & biking!

I have 3 pics in my gallery

Pain is just weakness (and donuts) leaving my body!

For over half my life, I was painfully underweight - Just skin and bones. One day I looked in the mirror and wondered who the fat guy was. . .

I "peaked" in April at 240 lbs! That is an amazing 20 pounds more than a year ago and a full hundred more than I weighed when I graduated from high school.

On April 29 my sister hinted at a neat job opportunity that required a level of fitness I'm nowhere near. THAT WAS IT! I immediately swore off Burger King and started ...

On April 29 my sister hinted at a neat job opportunity that required a level of fitness I'm nowhere near. THAT WAS IT! I immediately swore off Burger King and started walking. Then my wife and I started riding our bikes. . . I managed to lose more than 13 pounds in May, but still have so far to go.

On June 1, I started a 12-week Body For Life Challenge. Originally, my wife and I would ride 4-5 miles on our bikes a couple of times a week. Recently, we've gotten up to 34 miles on our weekend ride and ride 22 milles on Tuesday and Thursday. I also am riding on Monday, Wednesday and Friday after my upper or lower body workout. I currently am doing 16 miles on these solo rides.

I think your hunting expedition idea would make a great reward. I am not a hunter myself, but know many people who are. I love the thought of creating a reward that is a truly memorable experience. Good luck on figuring out how to structure that as your reward, and on achieving it.
