Hi. My name is Jessica and I'm a recovering fatty. Well, I haven't recovered quite yet, but one day. I've been on this roller coaster for far too long and am currently at my heaviest ever. A hefty 206. I know we all have our own journey, but looking at some recent photos of myself has really opened to what 206 looks like on my 5'4 frame.

So hopefully this will be my last "first day" of weight loss. That I will love myself to keep it going and know that feeling good and being healthy is so much more important than my favorite foods. Wish me luck!

My Goals:
My goal is more about a feeling than a number. Of course, it's always numbers based. I need to lose about 50 pounds. I want to climb stairs without being winded. To be noticeably pregnant instead of just massive (when the time comes). To hike, run a 5K, play with my future children, surprise my husband with boudoir shots. My journey is about more than a number. It's about me finally being able to live the life I was meant to.

My Program:
To start, my program is:
~Work out three times a week
~Track everything I eat
~Drink 8 glasses of water each day
~Plan our meals in advance

Personal Information:
I am recently married and live with my husband in NYC. I work in higher education but my dream job has always been a food writer or something in catering. Shocking, right? Haha I absolutely love to cook, but want to learn to cook my favorite meals in a more healthy way.

We love to travel and are big baseball fans, so our goal is that for every year we're married we'll travel to a new city to watch their team. It's a fun little adventure we're looking forward to.

I love movies, tv, reading, and riding my bike. I'd like to love physical activity more and get back to the way I used to feel... Addicted and loving a good workout!
