I have 3 boys, a husband, 3 dogs and a cat and I have 97 pounds to lose, which I have been putting off for years! My youngest son is 4 months old and we are not having anymore so NOW is the time to get healthy and skinny! I also sell avon and love it! I have found that my self esteem stays high when I get up and go through my skincare routine and when I fix my hair and makeup. Its easy to not feel pretty when you are overweight, atleast thats how it is for me. So using all of my avon products helps me feel pretty! Fitness Minutes: 320

My Goals:
Ok so its a new year and its time to get healthy....I have 97 pounds to lose and I refuse to give up this time!!! I just need some extra support and motivation!


My Program:
I have been doing some form of exercise starting on New Years day, mostly cardio with a little strength mixed in. I am currently tracking what I eat and I am drinking more water than ever before. I am also seeing a weight loss specialist who is helping me with nutrition and tracking my progress.



Personal Information:
I live in South Carolina and was born and raised in Georgia. I am a mama to 3 boys, the youngest only 4 months old. I stay at home and take care of my family and I LOVE it! I sell avon to give me something to do and I love all the girlie makeup, jewelry, and perfume-I enjoy making myself feel pretty!


Other Information:
I need positive people around me-if you want to be negative please go somewhere else! I love new recipes and food ideas because I am a foodie-I love cooking channel and food network, I wrote my own cookbook (not published, just did it for me). I would love to share healthy recipes!

    Wow! emoticon Way to go Jennifer..you are doing great. You are probably losing inches as well.

    May-be find some isometric exercises to do while you are busy with other things.

    With two small children to chase after and a house to look after I would think you are getting lots of exercise. That being said: the reduced calorie intake should make a difference. Hang in there

    Thank you for the excellent tip for giving meds to my cat. I am really reluctant to have to "man handle" her as she is trustful of me now and that took a long time to establish. She lived in the back bedroom for 5 months under the bed and only came out at night to eat and drink. I am the only person she will come to and she WILL NOT allow me to pick her up.
    I have tried the Tuna..no dice, hence tuna sandwiches for lunch. Tried the salmon..no dice..so salmon casserole for dinner.

    Won't touch the pill pockets. Vet. suggested a special brand of cat food to hide crushed tablet in. Have bought 2 tins and that is my plan for today. If that fails we will have to grab her when she is napping and do it the hard way. Karumba!! I hope the Vet's suggestion works.

    Thank you for your omment on my SparkPage. I've done the 30 day shred back in May and I plan to start with it again as soon as I am done with the Bootcamp Challenge in 2 weeks time...

    Hi Jennifer,

    Yes! yes! Exercise is my big stumbling block. I am not fond of doing exercise so I REALLY have to push myself each day. I try to do leg and arm exercises when I am sitting and any movement that burns a few calories has got to help. Keep at it girl, you are doing great.

    You are doing great Jennifer. Stress can be a road block if you let it, but, helps to tell yourself it's not stress ..it's just a little challenge.

    I have gotten way behind in keeping up with the daily posts. So much for being awarded any points for reading them all.
