Tennis is My Game

Hi. I am in my 60's and have the privilege of living in southwest Florida during the wintertimes, where I get to indulge my love of the sport of tennis by playing doubles about 5 times a week.

Thanks for stopping by my page! My magazines definitely stack up, sometimes more quickly than others. I'm a stay-at-home mom, and my days can range from very low-key and quiet (I can get a lot done!) to flat-out pandemonium (I get nothing done!), so my magazine reading goes in waves. With summer coming, I hope to have more leisure time - it's tough on everyone when the bad weather keeps us all cooped up together! And, over the years, I've learned to rotate what I'm getting - I don't need to get EVERY magazine year in and year out. I try to keep my subscriptions limited to one or two of each "type" at any given time.

Thanks for the tip on the website. In the past I've bought subscriptions online and had problems, so I eventually just went back to mailing in subscription cards. That was through eBay, though, and I've been thinking I should look into other options. SUPER prices sound GREAT to me! And I've recently heard eBay doesn't allow subscription auctions any longer - if it's true, I'm not surprised - we had to do refund requests 3 or 4 times before we finally just gave up on buying subscriptions that way. I'll definitely be checking out the site you mentioned!

Have a great day!

Hey! Thanks for stopping by. It's so great to hear from you!! The Amazing Race has been amazing this season! I loved the episode from 2 weeks ago when they were in India, and last night's episode in Moscow was great too. The frat boys were so funny! I have no idea how they manage to stay in the race. They are so sloooowww. La di da! LOL!
My favorite team is the mom and son. I think they are everyone's favorite. I really hope they win. They haven't had a mom and son team win the race yet, so that would be very cool to see.
Glad you're getting back on track. I was off track for a bit while out in California recently but I still did OK, thankfully. But I know I need to stay on track, keep exercising and record my calories since that is the key for me to keeping this weight off. To answer your question, I am about 5'2" and you're right, a size 4.
