    I know you'll do well at the function. Remember, it's about celebrating with the co-workers, not about having a meal to feel full. Enjoy the company, set your plate down now and again, go mingle with a glass of lemoned water, and come back a little later, when you're not as hungry, and the better choices will be easier to make.

    Too heavy to exercise?! Hardly!
    I suspect you may be doing activities that your body can't handle just yet, and that's causing injuries. For example, I can't walk more than 30 minutes at a time, my hip injury just doesn't like it. But if I walk a little slower and go twice a day, it doesn't seem to bother my hip half as much at the end of the day.
    Remember to warm up, too. I'm bad for that, but it's one of those things we just have to remember to do. And depending on the type and severity of the injury, you might need to get your Dr. to refer you to something like a sports therapist, to help with the injurdy.
