Time to add some "Sparks" in my life

I've tried just about everything, and this site was shared with me by a great co-worker. I think this may be my new addiction :-) It is absolutely amazing.

My Goals:
Enjoy shopping for clothes again -not just settling. Walk in those high shoes again - without all that pressure on my ankles. I like to look good without being uncomfortable, and I'd lik eto see at least 20 lbs gone by the end of the summer (Aug 1st for me). I want to tone as well and enjoy exercising again.

How in the heck are you managing to "not eat" at times?! Yeah, that'd be a first for me too!

Toddylicious? LOL That's a nickname for a good friend of mine, and when I visit him for an evening, I always end up eating junk food, or worse, really overeating.

That said, this visit wasn't so bad, I even brought controlled-portion snacks, so that it wouldn't get out of hand. It could have been a lot better food-wise, but at least it wasn't a complete disaster like previous times.

Living with a teenager is never easy. Luckily, I only have 2 to contend with on the weekends, and then they go back home.

If you want to vent about it, email me at work, and I'll give you a call so you can unload.

PS: kids & teens are NOT a reason to overeat, although we might think so. :-D

We all need the occasional "chocolate day", and I know DDavies would agree with me on that one. emoticon

The trick is to not dwell over it, and get back on track the next day.

I've also found that my chocolate cravings are usually an indication that I'm missing something else, like caffeine (oooh!!! really bad!!!) or carbs (like quick-burning sugar, or slower-burning whole-wheat products). And true to form, it usually takes me 3-5 days to figure out WHAT I was missing, and then to get back on track.

I wonder if running a nutritional report would help you figure out why you just couldn't do without chocolate yesterday.

Hang in there.... it does get better, and we both know it.
