I LOVE SP!!

I am a 34 year old mother of 2 (ages 14 & 16). My hubby & I have been together for 17 years, & I am currently in a doctoral program for clinical psychology. Recently, I achieved my goal of securing an Air Force Health Services scholarship & was commissioned this year as a 2nd Lt in the USAF!

I have been a member of SP since 12/29/08. I'm learning to make my health a higher priority. Obesity doesn't mesh with my worldviews. I'm so ready to be healthy & look forward to a LONG life, & it is important for me to set a good example for my children. I am comfortable with & love myself at any weight; I just want to FINALLY be healthy.....& I want to have gobs of energy, so that I'm not one of those people looking for excuses to take the elevator instead of the stairs!

Day 1. Let's not over do it. Let's not overthink it. Let's not get crazy. Slow and steady and CONSISTENT wins the race. We are gittin' it dun! Let's DO THIS!
