"HAPPY NEW YEAR-2015"

I am a work in progress. I have lost 25 lbs. this year, and at a standstill, but I have not gained anymore of my weight back.

I am in my own apartment now and just loving it. I can walk out the door and get a bus and go anywhere.

I am 65 1/2 and determined to get my weight off. I live in Wheeling, WV. I moved to a low rise, 7 floors, and am very happy.

I just read this poem & felt it too good not to share on this CHRISTmas Eve! God bless!

{This is another version of 'Twas The Night Before Christmas' }

'Twas the night before Jesus came
and all through the house
Not a creature was praying,
Not one in the house.
Their Bibles were lain on the shelf without care
In hopes that Jesus would not come there.

The children were dressing to crawl into bed.
Not once ever kneeling or bowing a head.
And Mom in her rocker with baby on her lap
Was watching the Late Show while I took a nap.

When out of the East there arose such a clatter.
I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash!

When what to my wondering eyes should appear
But angels proclaiming that Jesus was here.
With a light like the sun sending forth a bright ray
I knew in a moment this must be THE DAY!

The light of His face made me cover my head
It was Jesus! returning just like He had said.
And though I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth,
I cried when I saw Him in spite of myself.

In the Book of Life which He held in His hand
Was written the name of every saved man.
He spoke not a word as He searched for my name;
When He said "it's not here" my head hung in shame.

The people whose names had been written with love
He gathered to take to His Father above.
With those who were ready He rose without a sound.
While all the rest were left standing around.

I fell to my knees, but it was too late;
I had waited too long and thus sealed my fate.
I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight;
Oh, if only I had been ready tonight.

In the words of this poem the meaning is clear;
The coming of Jesus is drawing near.
There's only one life and when comes the last call
We'll find that the Bible was true after all!

(by Reverend Edward M. Gionest, Sr.)

To those who receive Him, He gives the power to become the sons of God, even to those that believe on his name. Repent and declare with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him up from the dead, you will be saved.

Hi Joyce,

It is the Christmas Market Advent Calendar. The market opens up to different things and if you go to the family room you will find some jigsaw puzzles plus a game and also, on the back shelves are books which tell you about stuff as it was during Victorian times. Each book is allied tot he date. You will make your own snowflakes plus decorate your own tree and make a wreath to hang as well as wrap your own parcel. That is as far as we have got but only a few days to go now. Last year's is also available and that 8is also well worth buying. It is dirt cheap and takes place in the manor house of Georgian times.

It is well worth looking at and doing as it gives you information that you would not otherwise get to know. When you do get hooked up you can go through the dates as there are 25 of them so no worries. It will still be there in January.
I still think it is a rip off having to pay $65 per month for internet. That is my monthly phone bill plus internet and I still have change.

Anyway, will give you a call next weekend and you can tell me about your Christmas.

Take care and have a very merry Xmas.
