Summer 2012

I'm in Maine for the summer. Several years ago I had a Little Bungalow built here for me (my design). I'm not sure what I'll do next. I did have a minor heart attack in June (second one. The first one was 11 years ago.) I'm not sure what I'll do next. It didn't slow me down very much. I am enjoying the wild life around here. Turkeys and babys, two doe, one has one fawn and the other has twins.

Winter of 2011 & 2012
Gypsy and I are traveling in an RV seeing this beautiful country. We are from Maine and SD.

Gypsy is my adorible cat. This RV is her home and she sure knows it.
I've been in all 50 states now in my life time. Gypsy will never make that at least I doubt it. I can't see taking her to HI. She flies fine. I just don't see me ever getting a chance to go back.

We are just north of Gulfport, Ms right now. We'll head east then south.
Dec. 21. Gypsy and I spent a week at Big Bolixi campsite in the DeSota
Feb 17. Sitting in a motel waiting for my RV to be repaired.
MARCH --- I'm in Maine for the summer.

National Forest and now have just checked into The Gulf Islands National Seashore at Ocean Springs. It looks as we could find some adventures here. There is a fort near by that I haven't seen.
Dec, 25
That fort is on one of the berrier island. take a boat during the summer. But yesterday I saw my first WILD ALLIGATOR. What a strange thing to be happy about! It's just my nature to be adventurist.

Well, I said good bye to mrs. Alligater and moseyed down the road to Pensacola, FL. I'm parked at Fort Picken. This my stomping grounds after high school. I went into the Navy (WAVES) and became a Navy photographer. Going sight seeing seeing

Jan. florilow oaks, Bushnell, Florida. It's been below freezing the last two nights and again to night. Tues. it is suppose to warm up. I hope so.

Afield from Maine is here. Last Friday we won't to see the manatees.
I'll be here a month then go see my sister in law. Then a slow trip bank to Maine.

I just came across your message about Gypsy and your motothome. How fun! How brave you are and lucky enough to have the funds to pursue your dream to see the other side of the mountains.

My husband and I used to have a 35 foot Southwind and went around our state just about every weekend. We were self employed so could never go too far from home. We had great fun. Then he had a massive stroke and ended up in an assisted living home and I live in low cost senior housing.

Happy traveling!

Hi Joy, thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I love that you and Gypsy are traveling the highways of our country. How fun for you two. My parents had a Winnebago when I was a kid and we had awesome adventures in that rig......Patti

Thank you Joy for commenting on my blog. Yes it is true sometimes GOD says, "No." Even if we do not understand it is always for our own good. I appreciate you stopping by. Happy travelling. That is great you are seeing the country. My husband and I always wanted to do that and planned it. We both have health problems that won't allow it now. So we travel through PBS with all their travel shows. Take care of yourself and Gypsy. I love the 3 monkeys pose. I have an actual little statue of the three monkeys. I have it on my bookcase in my bedroom so I can see and enjoy it. lol
