Change Is Good

I have struggled for years with my weight. I am at a point though where I am tired of doing the same old thing and expecting different results. I feel different this time.

I am looking at this as a journey instead of the beginning to the end of something. I am also think these changes have to be be for a lifetime not just for the moment.

I have a different mindset and know there are going to be days I don't want to exercise, once in a while that may be ok. I know ...

I am looking at this as a journey instead of the beginning to the end of something. I am also think these changes have to be be for a lifetime not just for the moment.

I have a different mindset and know there are going to be days I don't want to exercise, once in a while that may be ok. I know though that I can not afford to take two days in a row off from activity.

The other thing that is very different this time is I am not going to quit on myself. In the past when the scale did not move fast enough or I had a gain I would throw in the towel and go back to my old habits of unhealthy eating and stop exercising.

I am going to bet on myself this time!

-To develop a healthier lifestyle that includes more fruits and veggies

-To be able to keep up with my young family

-Tracking my food and watching some specific things such as fiber, calcium, carbs and protein

-Getting more active through a variety of ways and not sticking to the same couple of exercises
