I tried to run at 9 o'clock last night and only made it 2.5 miles. I am having 2nd thoughts about at 10K in 12 days....but trying not to psych myself out emoticon

How are things going on your end?

Thank you for my running shoes! I really wanted to run yesterday, but I have a cold and it's kicking my butt. My head hurts and I have no energy. blah. I can't wait to feel better.

We were in Missoula for soccer this past weekend and we stayed with my inlaws who live up on the hill off of Pattee Canyon. I managed to run 2 mi DOWNHILL but the problem always is that you eventually have to go back UP...so I walked up another 1.25. Ugh. Hills. There are a few (or were) on the 10 Spoon course...and inevitably it will be WARM or even HOT on the 19th. We don't even really have time to get used to warm running...today its a run day and its supposed to be 65...Thursday's run temp? 80's!!!!!! So if you add 15 degrees (as they say you do ) that will FEEL like running when its 95 OMG emoticon

Enough whining :0)

Well, I went ahead and did it. I registered for 10 Spoon today...last day for early registration :0) I figure that my time cannot be worse than last year...or how I felt doing that race for that matter. So game on. 2.5 weeks to get ready to DO IT! Time to eat lean, hydrate, and RUN (rain, wind or shine...thank god for a good vented rain jacket). Super Excited!

Are you having any luck running? I finally managed to get in 2.5 miles last night for the first run in over a week.
