Hey there, everybody. Nice of you to drop by. I've been on just about every crazy diet ever invented. I even invented a few of my own. Naturally, the weight came off every time and would then come back on every time. I'm just to old to be putting up with that silly stuff anymore!

I'm glad to have found Sparkpeople. So far I've had a good time exploring the features of this site and I can feel the good things a few small changes have done for me.

I'm glad to have found Sparkpeople. So far I've had a good time exploring the features of this site and I can feel the good things a few small changes have done for me.

It is so grand to have a no nonsense approach to things and get the support I need without listening to a bunch of hype and have people try to sell me things.

I'm in the process of shedding 85 pounds to get to 145 lbs by late May of 2012 and stay at the weight or a little less for the rest of my days.

I find doing it this way to be a pleasant and rewarding experience and hope it works the same way for you.

Following the sparkpeople program for nutrition,
I'm walking 12000 steps a day. Not worrying about speed for now, just doing the steps.
Getting low impact cardio by using a variety of different videos so I don't get bored.
Doing simple stretches and dancing throughout the day to keep energy upl
