Fitness Minutes: 14,945

My Goals:
Wow.. Up higher from the last time.

Immediate goal is to get below 200. About five pounds. Would like to do that by the end of September.

TOPS goal set by doctor is 165. Long ways away. But as I say, one pound at

RE exercise, 150 minutes a week, including cardio and strength. Consistently.

My main reason for losing weight and wanting to keep it off is health, though I must admit I enjoy wearing nice clothes, especially jeans that fit.

My family has diabetes in it. My mother died recently,living the last two years of her life in a nursing home. She was a hundred pounds overweight ever since I can remember. and used a walker and wheelchair for twenth years. So health is a big focus for me.


My Program:
Healthy eating with a focus on healthy choices, portion control, and limiting sweets.

Exercise, walking two or three times a week, strength training , and elliptical when I am home.

Meditation, and other head type of work to help deal with left over emotional issues.




Personal Information:
My name is Jo - I am 68, at one time I lost 55 pounds, but slow crept back up. (Though I did NOT gaine it all back.)

I am married to my soul mate, who was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I am a grandmother. I like to fish and travel with my husband, who is skinny. I am semi-retired, and work as a medical paralegal now, from home.


Other Information:
I am a political junkie, big time.

I also am an internet junkie and like to play on-line games.
